Nestled at the foot of a steep winding road, Ballintoy Harbour is one of the Causeway Coast's most picturesque fishing harbours and has gained international recognition as a filming location for the television series Game of Thrones.
Looking out across the tranquil harbour towards the rocky shoreline beyond, this painting captures the quiet beauty and timeless character of this much loved place. From the historic stone harbour walls to the ever-changing coastal light reflected in the water, it is a personal response to a landscape Frankie has returned to paint time and again.
