WEST STRAND is an original mixed media painting and forms part of Frankie's 'Fair Head to Mussenden' Summer Art Exhibition 2026.
Stretching along the western side of the Portrush peninsula, West Strand - also known as Mill Strand- is a lively seaside beach where the town meets the Atlantic Ocean. Framed by the bustling promenade and harbour, it has long been a favourite spot for walkers, swimmers and surfers.
Looking across the shoreline towards Portrush, this painting reflects the energy of the town alongside the ever-changing beauty of the coast. The sweeping bay, gentle reflections and dramatic sky celebrate a place that holds many memories for Frankie and so many others who return here year after year.
