Coastal Patterns

Coastal Patterns is a 2025 collection of original mixed-media artworks, inspired by the shifting textures, patterns and colours of the North Coast of Ireland.

Each piece in this nine-part series captures the rhythm of the coastline through contemporary coastal art techniques including paper layering, textile stitching, acrylic paint, and found materials. The artworks are semi-relief in nature, adding depth and movement to any space.

Materials such as painted paper, fabric, wood, and machine stitch are combined using assemblage and collage techniques, creating works that are rich in both tone and texture. Every piece is hand-finished, signed by Frankie, and professionally presented in a handcrafted white wooden box frame with double white mount.
