Postcards from Portrush Art Exhibition
The exhibition brings together original artworks from local artists under the theme Postcards from Portrush.
I was inspired by the idea of Portrush having been one of Northern Ireland's premier holiday resorts since the late 1800s. The layers of typical 'postcard chat' echo the notion of layers of time. Fabrics, thread, stitch, paint and a vintage postcard combine to create this mixed-media piece.
The artworks will be displayed in The White House window from Thursday 28th September through to Sunday 1st October. All pieces have a set price with all proceeds going to the Zachary Geddis Break The Silence Trust.
